Posters for the U.S. General Release
Lobby Cards - Blue Set -11" x 17"

Because of the Taylor/Burton scandal at the time, areas of the country more sensitive to the "illicit" nature of their romance, had the option to use lobby cards that ever-so-slightly downplayed Taylor and Burton as a couple, and focused more on the spectacle (the pink set). The blue set shows Taylor and Burton a bit more prominently and closer together. The differences are so minor, one wonders what was the point? Ah.....the 60's!
